Day 1

International Flight

Day 2

Upon arrival, meet your tour Travel Your World Tour Manager at Charles D'Gaulle Airport
in Paris. Enjoy your bus tour of Paris to include all the famous sights. Transfer to hotel and after a
short break take a walk to familiarize yourself with your new neighborhood. Then enjoy the rest of
your day on a walking tour of Montmartre. Enjoy dinner - your first real French cuisine. Bon
Appetit

Day 3

Meeting Mona - This morning you will tour the famous Louvre Museum. Your guided tour
will include many of the popular collections including the Winged Victory of Samothrace, Venus
de Milo and of course Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Your afternoon will be time to explore the
fashions found on the Champs Elysees, Avenue Montaigne and the rue du faubourg St. Honore
as well as the Clingnancourt Flea Market. Spend your evening with a trip to the top of the Eiffel
tower Eiffel tower where you will take the elevator to the top! Do not forget to take your sweater as
it is very windy up there!

Day 4

This morning you will depart by train to Chateau de Versailles, one of the world's most
spectacular palaces in the world. Once home of the Sun King, Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette,
you will explore the splendor of the Hall of Mirrors, the Royal Apartments, Chapel, and the Royal
Bedrooms. Be sure to bring along your binoculars.... the ceilings are magnificent!!! Spend your
lunch and afternoon visiting Marie Antoinette's farm and her two pavilions as well as the fabulous
gardens. Dinner and an evening cruise on the Seine River, a perfect way to end your Parisian
experience!

Day 5

Journey to the Loire Valley, often called the “Garden of France”. Tour the Chambord
Castle, the largest of castles in the region. Visit the Chateau of Chenonceaux in Amboise and
also the Close Luce, the former residence of Leonardo da Vinci.

Day 6

Today continue to explore the valley by visiting the Chateau D' Azay-Le-Rideau, built in
1518 and one of the earliest French Renaissance chateaux's which is built on an island in the
Indre River. Then off to Villandry to see the famous Jardins De Villandry, which is surrounded by
one of the last castles built on the Loire river edge during the Renaissance period. Return to
Paris.

Day 7

Depart Paris, traveling south to Avignon where upon arrival, begin your guided tour of this
beautiful Provencal city, designated a UNESCO heritage city. Avignon was for centuries one of
the major artistic centers of France. Located on the banks of the River Rhône, this medieval city
is dominated by the Pope's Palace. The Popes' Palace, built in 1335, is the largest Gothic palace
in all of Europe (equivalent of 4 Gothic cathedrals). I'm sure you'll be amazed!!

Day 8

This morning travel to Nimes and explore this beautiful ancient town, which became a
famous hangout for Caesar Augustus, 27 BC – 14AD, during his reign. Nimes, is also famous to
Mr. Levi Strauss, where he invented his durable cloth, also know as denim! Enjoy your guide tour
of Nimes where you will explore the Amphitheatre, a 2-storied Roman theater, better preserved
and more complete than the Colosseum in Rome. Visit the Maison Caree, one of Europe's most
beautiful Roman temples, the Jardin de la Fountaine gardens, lined with Roman and pre-Roman
ruins, and the Castellum, a Roman water tower. Return to Avignon.

Day 9

Arles, the quaint village famous for Vincent Van Gogh and the Theater Antique, a Roman
theatre that started in the first century by Augustus. It was here, in 1651, that the Venus of Arles
was discovered. It was restored by Louis XIV, and is now on display in the Louvre. Enjoy your day
following in the footsteps of Van Gogh were you can enjoy a café at the famous “Café Terrace at
Night' or have your lunch at one of the many gardens were Van Gogh painted daily.

Day 10

Spend a day in the nature to discover the Camargue delta, one of the most beautiful
natural sites in Europe. Experience this region by jeep safari with local farmers and breeders of
horses and bulls for 3 generations. See the wild flamingos, herons, ponds and marshes and
boars.

Day 11

Spend your last day in France exploring the city of Marseille. Visit the Vieux Port to
watch the fisherman sell their catch in the markets, see the Notre Dame which overlooks the city.
Later enjoy your cruise to the island of If. Tour the Château d'If, built in the early part of the 16th
century as fortress and later used as a prison. It is famous for being one of the settings in the
movie, The Count of Monte Cristo.

Day 12

International flight to Canada
