DAY 1

International Departure

DAY 2

Arrive in Madrid, the capital city of Spain. Begin your adventures with your tour director on an orientation of Madrid's entertainment district and Calle Gran Via. After dinner enjoy an evening walk through some of the lush gardens that surround the Royal Palace.

DAY 3

Begin your day with a guided tour of Madrid. This half day tour highlights some of Madrid's famous avenues and historic quarters, see: The Opera, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, Las Ventas bullring and Santiago Bernabeu, home of Real Madrid football team. After lunch continue to the Prado Museum. This 18th century Neo-Gothic building is home to masterpieces by Goya, Velasguez, Murillo and El Greco.

DAY 4

Today, travel to the medieval pink city of Toledo. Located 70 km from Madrid. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe and it is known as "the city of three cultures". Toledo was the former capital of Spain and the beautiful architecture includes almost every period in Spain's history including the Arab, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque. Toledo is also famed for it's production of iron products especially swords. During your visit you will witness first hand how these famous swords are made. Late afternoon return to Madrid to enjoy Calle Gran Via.

DAY 5

Following breakfast begin your transfer via high-speed train to the Andalucian capital of Seville. Upon your arrival begin your journey with a guided tour of this magnificent city, see Alcazares Reales, Maria, Luisa Park, Plaza de Espana, Torre del Oro and the Cathedral of Seville, with it's impressive bell tower, La Giralda. Later that afternoon enjoy some supervised time on Calle Mateos Gago before dinner and your Flamenco evening.

DAY 6

Early morning breakfast before your journey to the former Moorish Kingdom of Granada. Continue to journey through the Spanish sierra at an elevation of 738 meters above sea level, en-route to the magnificent Alhambra Palace. This Moorish masterpiece fell to the reign of Isabelle and Ferdinand in the 14th century AD. Despite Catholic reign the Alhambra still retains intact of it's moorish Mudejar architecture. Later that afternoon visit the Granada Cathedral and the surrounding moor vendors. That evening enjoy a traditional Spanish dinner a la paeya !

DAY 7

Continue your journey to the old historic centre of Malaga. During your visit to Malaga visit the Cathedral, Gibralfaro, The Alcazaba, La Fundacion De Picasso, Flavian Roman Theatre and Calle Larios, the main commercial street in the city. Later that afternoon board you motor coach en-route to the British Colony of Gibraltar (DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSPORTS!). Tour the St.Michael's Cave, The Apes Den, Great Siege Tunnel and The Moorish Castle. Later spend some supervised time on Main Street. Gibraltar is known as duty free zone and the art of bartering is practiced even among its residents. Dinner can be enjoyed at any one of the countries Irish, British, Moroccan, Spanish or Western Eateries.

DAY 8

Complete your British stay with some free time in this vacationers paradise before your departure to Torremolinos. This region dates back 150,000 years and has been inhabited by Pheonicians, Romans and Arabs. Ancient artifacts can still be seen throughout the city and on Calle San Miguel. Torremolinos is a favorite among Spanish vacationers and the seaside restaurants (chirinquitos), These are amongst the best the country has to offer.

DAY 9

Enjoy your buffet breakfast before you travel to the Mijas Pueblo, rated as one of the prettiest villages in all of Spain. Mijas is a typical Andaluz village of whitewashed buildings perched high on the mountainside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Later that afternoon return to Torremolinos to enjoy the mild temperatures that this Region is known for. Dinner and an evening with a moonlight walk on El Paseo Maritimo, the perfect way to end your Spanish adventure.

DAY 10

Enjoy some last minute sun before your return home! Hasta Lluego Amigos
