Day 1

International flight to Moscow.

Day 2

Dobraye utro ! Your Russian adventure begins in Moscow, the Mother of Russia. A tour of the city will offer you many wonderful sights such as the Red Square with the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral, the Theatre Square with the Bolshoi Theatre and Sparrow Hills with the Moscow University. Enjoy your first authentic Russian dinner.

Day 3

Today, start with your guided tour of the Kremlin, one of the largest museums in the world. Surrounded by thick red walls with 20 towers, it occupies 90 acres in the historic core of Moscow. It is situated on the south by the Moscow River and Kremlin quay, on the east by Red Square with Lenin's tomb, the Moscow Historical Museum, and St. Basil's Cathedral. It houses a number of golden-domed churches and palaces, museums, residences, offices, assembly halls, and monuments. Continue on to the Red Square, one of the most famous landmarks in Russia.

Day 4

Begin your day with a walking tour of the Old Arbat. The Old Arbat is a charming pedestrian street located in the historical centre of Moscow. The Arbat is one of the oldest surviving streets in the Russian capital and had existed since the 15th century. It begins at Arbatskaya Square (which is part of the Boulevard Ring) and runs southwest ending at Smolenskaya Square (which is part of the Garden Ring). The Old Arbat is considered to be a touristy street with lots of entertainment, restaurants, and souvenirs sold. Later experience the famous Moscow Metro - The second most heavily used rapid-transit system in the world. End your day with a tour of the Tretyakov Gallery, the largest collection of Russian fine art in the world with more than 130,000 exhibits.

Day 5

Day tour to Sergiyev Posad. Sergiyev Posad is a agricultural and industrial town located about 90 kilometers Northeast of Moscow. It is famous for its fortress monastery, the Troitse-Sergiyeva (Holy Trinity) Lavra established by St. Sergius in 1345. The Troitse-Sergiyeva Lavra is the most important monastery in Russia and is the spiritual centre of Russian Orthodox Christianity.

Day 6 & 7

Continue your Russian journey to St. Petersburg. Enjoy your tour of St. Petersburg, with its lavish architecture, imperial palaces and famous museums. St. Petersburg is one of the world's most beautiful cities and has all of the ingredients for and unforgettable travel experience. The city is located on the Neva River at the head of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea. While touring St. Petersburg you will have the opportunity to see many noted attractions, such as: the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky, and much more.

Day 8

A tour of the Hermitage Museum. It is a museum of art and culture located in the heart of St. Petersburg. The Hermitage is one of the oldest and largest museums in the world and its collections are comprised of over 3 million items housed in six magnificent buildings. Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress. This fortress is the architectural and historical centre of St. Petersburg. It is considered to be where the city of St. Petersburg started. You will walk the grounds of the fortress, visit the Peter and Paul Cathedral where all of the Russian Tzar's from Peter the Great onwards were buried, pass by the Petersburg Mint that is still in operation and is one of only two places in Russia that produces coins, medals, and badges. If you stand at the fortress at noon you might hear the loud sound of a cannon being shot as when Peter the Great introduced the practice of firing a cannon from the fortress every day at noon. Tour the St. Isaac's Cathedral. This cathedral is the largest cathedral in St. Petersburg and the golden dome of St. Isaac's can be seen from any place in the city.

Day 9

Another exciting day with a tour to the palace and park at Peterhof, also known as Petrodvorets. Versailles was Peter the Great's inspiration to build an imperial palace outside his new city and Peterhof is often referred to as "the Russian Versailles". Peterhof is a series of beautiful parks and gardens, palaces and fountains. Enjoy your last night on your Russian adventure. Dasvidania!!
